When you create an Assistive account through the web portal, you provide us with personal information that includes the following:
- Name
- Country, State, City
- Mobile Number
This information is required to validate that no one else uses the application on your behalf and submit misleading information. Assistive does not collect additional personal information such as Bank Account details, PAN, ID Proof etc. If you believe that your personal data has been provided to us improperly, or to otherwise exercise your rights relating to your personal information, please contact us under Help and Support section through the app.
2. Information we collect as you use our services
As you use the Assistive app, we collect the following information from the app and device:
- GPS Location: The application requires Location services to detect exact outlet locations where you perform the activities.
- Device Model: This application works well with the latest OS version and during activities done by you, we collect this information that helps us in providing better troubleshooting.
- Call Log: This application requires the call log of your device to assist you in automatically logging a Call Activity you have performed for a customer and thus helping you to focus on your core job rather than spending effort on mundane activities such as entering a call log details in the CRM.
3. Why Assistive collects data
The data that we collect from you is used for the following purposes:
- To regularly improve user experience and reduce the issues faced by you when using the app.
- To present complete visibility of field operations to your clients.
- To validate information collected in the app through geo-location and time-stamp.
- To give you live updates and real-time view of your performance. Reports and dashboards are available when you need them, so you can make informed decisions from anywhere.
- To connect with your colleagues and team members instantly and you can share photos directly from your mobile device.
- To help you in managing your day. Stay on top of your day, from viewing your scheduled tasks, accessing actionable reports, and other important documents.
N.B.: The permissions sought by the app are only for the smooth functioning of the Assistive app and any data being accessed or stored is strictly for the functioning of the app. Your data privacy is your right and our utmost responsibility.
4. Your privacy controls
You have an option of not to share certain information by denying specific permission when using the Assistive app. However, certain permissions are mandatory and if you do not allow those accesses, you may not be able to use the Assistive app
Also, you have an option to manage and update your personal information from the web interface of Assistive.
5. Keeping your information secure
Assistive is built with strong security features that continuously protect your information. We work hard to protect you and Assistive from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold including:
- We use encryption to keep your data private while in transit using best-in-class cryptographic procedures.
- All our data resides in AWS Cloud in an encrypted format created and supported by AWS.
- All the customer’s data is kept in isolation even though it resides on the same virtual server.
- As far as admin access of our clients (to whom you are registered as end user) are concerned, access rights and levels are based on their job function and roles, using the concept of least-privilege to define responsibilities.
- We review our information collection, storage, and processing practices to prevent unauthorized access to our systems.
